I highly recommend working rowing machine into the mix to develop core at the same time.

You can't go wrong with deadlifts, kettle bell squats (goblet squats), and combat ropes. I assume you have a gym membership. If not, any of the high speed home programs can be good, just be careful about form 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Thu, 16 Aug 2018 02:15:14 -0400 2018-08-16T02:15:14-04:00 Response by SFC Stephen King made Aug 16 at 2018 7:30 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/workout-program-to-be-prepared-physically-for-deployment?n=3884142&urlhash=3884142

Squat, Deadlift, Bench and standing overhead press these 4 exercises will do more to prepare you for downrange. The air gets very hot and very dry in the middle east. Especially the deserts. If you live in the southeast or the south, you will quickly notice how thin the air is in the middle east. You will dehydrate rapidly during runs. Nothing can truly prepare you for the middle east. But you will get used to it. However, in the meantime, get yourself a running mask. They restrict your airflow so your lungs are forced to become more efficient. PFC Private RallyPoint Member Fri, 17 Aug 2018 03:46:55 -0400 2018-08-17T03:46:55-04:00 2018-08-15T23:46:42-04:00
