They still house Soldiers in Vietnam era housing and same with barracks when I was there which was condemned due to serious black mold. They are building new barracks but the family housing is a joke. I guess its a matter of perspective. A good roof and a bed. Might as well have been staying in a hotel. LOL. Only tenuous part might have been combat.
