It is sad that you watch Tucker Carlson. Not surprising, but sad.

Bottom feeder is certainly a cogent attack on Tuckers arguments and positions. I d believe that is an attack against the person and not his arguments! You entirely miss my argument and position, but since you don’t perceive my position I will not enlighten you. There is a hint n that I posted one study and mentioned there is another study that indicates about 2% of trans people suffer remorse. But as ussual you are not looking at what I post but creating a straw man to attack. I can’t be bothered. Have a good evening! https://journals.lww.com/prsgo/fulltext/2021/03000/regret_after_gender_affirmation_surgery__a.22.aspx

LTC David Brown - No, more of an attack on his character. The attack doesn't address his arguments. And you used the word "cogent" incorrectly unless you meant to say you were convinced by the attack, or that the attack was logical. What you "believe" is immaterial if you don't understand the words you are using in the first place. Given that you struggle with the English language, you will have to cut me some slack if I don't fully understand your argument. You would have to actually present an argument before a straw man could be engaged.

But yeah... a whole 2%... which would mean a full 98% do not suffer remorse. Is that your "argument"?

MSgt Steve Sweeney - gee, thanks wordsmith, sarcasm was entirely lost on you but that is your problem. No, that isn’t my argument, not even a close guess , you could have figure it out if you didn’t decide to be close minded, again, your problem. . Did you read the link to the Forbes article and my comment? Three people on 60 Minutes felt they were pushed into a toxic decision, Tucker Carlson interviewed them. They had all considered suicide. The first non-binary individual felt the whole thing was BS with no push back, I linked his article . A counselor presented by Carlson felt that she could not push back on people that were not really candidates for sex change . She stated even transsexuals who were counselors felt they could not bring up issues because of the toxic environment we are in and they may end up being professionally cancelled. The Forbes article states 60% of homosexual youth were encouraged to become transsexuals. Despite the 98% satisfaction rate suicides among transgender people is 10 times that of cis people in one study I read. So life isn’t so rosy. Maybe our culture needs to adopted a more close diligent attitude and ensure that proper selection is made for transitioning. I spent 30 years providing anesthesia. I read a lot of research articles. I am also aware of problems in research. Look up the disaster of cox2 inhibiting drugs for pain control created because of crappy research. Look at the problems created when appeal to authority helped create the narcotics epidemic. A letter to to the editor in a medical journal was used as evidence that narcotics use in post operative period didn’t lead to addiction. Not every one is as stupid as you think they are, again, your problem.

Yesterday I read where two physicians allowed their infant to receive COVID-19 in a trial. The comments were how bad these parents were yet you can switch over to another thread and see how people support young children transitioning. It is scary what people believe is good v. bad parenting.

And the suicide rate for these folks whether or not they "transition" is very high. They need counseling assistance, not surgical intervention with very few exceptions.
