I've done research on This Virus impact on clinicians in ICU and ER. For them it is a human wave assault and they are exhausted and overwhelmed. Each death for them is a tragic loss. Also consider that this disease is multi-systemic including attacking the brain.
And about 1/2 who recover, still require extensive care as an outpatient.

If interested I will send you a copy of my published paper in this regard: [login to see]

A huge part of the problem, IMHO, is when Kamala Harris said she did not trust the vaccine in the VP debate on 7 October. Of course it was just politics, and she turned around and was vaccinated on 5 January, as soon as she was able. But, the damage had been done.

I remember when Donald declared we "will have 15 cases, then 10, then 5, and then it disappears".

Lie after lie after lie. Spin after spin after spin. How could anyone expect Trump-affected peeps to ever believe the truth - much less understand it if they were to see it.

LTC Eugene Chu SSgt Addison R. SSgt Richard Kensinger SSgt Addison R. - It was wrong of her to publicly trash the vaccine. You can yell all day long that she is the exact moral equivalent of Trump and no lower than he was, but she still was wrong. Then, she was a out and out hypocrite when she jumped ahead of healthcare workers to get her shot.
