When you see things you didn't want to see, and can't unsee. And do things you didn't want to do, and can't undo...your mental health suffers. I hope every one of those Men and Women who served get proper Mental Health care to find ways to cope with their time over there. One of my Nephews said just seeing how People lived in places he was deployed to, was enough to give him nightmares:
"You don't want to be a girl or woman in most of the Places I served. And forget about plumbing."
