What you learn

Students of th H8 ASI course will be instructed in theory, practice, and operation of the US Army's current fleet of wreckers (M984 and M1098) and vehicle recovery equipment, as well as Battle Damage Assessment and Repair (BDAR).

How to prepare

Soldiers can best prepare for the H8 ASI course by familiarizing themselves with the M984 and M1098 series wreckers, their associated BII, AAL, and -10 TMs, as well as reviewing FM 4-30.31, ATP 4-30, and FM 5-125.
