Do any current 12P have any information about this MOS that GOARMY or USACE does not provide?

There's a lot of stuff about Prime Power that those resources don't provide! I've been out of the field for a few tears now but I keep in touch with those still in. What questions do you have about being a 12P?

Are you actually doing your job the majority of the time or is like most jobs in the army where you do everything besides that?
How is the promotion rate after you pick up e-6?
Is there an ALC or is the year long school considered ALC?
Is this still regular army in terms of once I graduate the school house I still have to go to the promotion board?
I’m asking this because I’m eligible to go to the board right as 2019 starts and I’m just curious as so to how much potential time I’ll be staying an E5 if I go this route.
The job is more satisfying than pay, but ultimately I still have to provide for my family so pay is still important.
