Operations Sergeant
I was a 88M assigned to Bco 703rd MSB Ft. Stewart, Ga. I spent over 2 years running missions as a Motor Vehicle Operator. I was approached by the Operations Sergeant in early 2000 and asked to come into Operations first as a clerk and ultimately ended up spending over a year as "acting" Operations Sergeant as a Corporal. The sent plenty of E-5's and a few E-6's to try out for the job. In the end my command was happy with my performance and I had the slot.

NCOIC
I was assigned to funeral detail. I was the most humbling experience in my life. It was a great honor to be part of funerals for fallen vets. The honors they received were earned. I was lucky enough to be NCOIC of a 3 man flag folding detail and also part of a 7 man full honors detail.....
