Over 15 years of living in physically challenging environments and areas of low-intensity conflict both as a soldier and as a civilain contractor. Mission oriented project manager with national and international experience. Experienced US Army Engineer Officer using the skills, knowledge, abilities,and training I gained during a military career spanning more than 34 years and in the civilian sector as an engineer program, project and construction management advisor/mentor/trainer for both the Afghan National Army and Afghan Air Force for 10 years. I also have more than 18 years in the nuclear industry as an armed security manager, and more than 6 years in a hospital laboratory as a medical technician.

Served as an Instructor for the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and as a Combined Excercise Instructor prior to deploying in support of Operations Endurign Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. Returned from deployments to my former position awaiting mandatory retirement after meeting MRD requirements as a serving Lieutenant Colonel of 28 years time in service.

Served as the Area Engineer in Camp Mike Spann, Mes-e-Sharif (MeS) for the 9 Northern provinces overseeing the construction of Afghan Army bases, Police bases, Border Police bases as well as portions of the Afghan Nation Highway and in FOB Salerno, Khost for the 5 Eastern provinces of Afghanistan overseeing the sam types of engineer missions as the north.

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan

Served as the Area Engineer/OIC for the Northern Provinces of Afghanistan based in Mes-e-Sharif (MeS) and for the Eastern Provinces of Aghanistan based in Fprward Operating Bse (FOB) Salerno managing engineer and reconstruction missions in support of the Coalition Forces mission of interdicting terrorist activities and re-building Afghanistan.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)

Served as the Infrastructure Engineer and Engineer Director on the Kirkuk Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) managing engineer missions in the province. Supervised a portion of Civil Affaairs soldiers assigned to the division. Met with local governmental officials and tribal leaders in order to develop engineer and constructions projects.

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Djibouti

I was the Engineer Operations Officer/Command Engineer for CJTF-HOA running engineer missions as well as the Sudan Engineer working with the African Union in Darfur.

Operation Desert Shield/Storm

Served as the liaison officer in the 265th Engineer Group which was attached to the 20th Engineer Brigade (Airborne). Oversaw the construction of combat roads and trails and minor base construction.
