Stationed at Shaw from Dec 81 to Nov 86. We had RF-4C's at that time and I worked the J79-GE-15 engine back shop as a crew chief. Shortly after we converted the F-16 and had new planes and engines so we didn't have a lot of work. I was in the first FTD class for the F100-PW-200 engine. I also worked wing quality assurance as an aircraft/engine inspector and as a team leader at the hush house.
