I have had a great journey in my military career. In the nearly 23 years of service I was able to travel the world beginning with my first duty station in Ft. Drum New York with the 10th Mountain, 10th Aviation Brigade setting up FARPS and riding in helocopters. Followed by a tour to Korea with the 1st of the 501st Charlie Company in Chun Chon Korea for a year. Which took me back home to Texas, to be a part of history with the 1st Calvary Division 2/12 CAV, chasing tanks in my M978 HEMMIT. Jumped across the big pond, landing in Kirchgoens Germany for 3 months before deploying to Bosnia and returning to Germany to be shipped to Giessen Germany all while assigned to the SERVICE BATTERY 2/3 Field Artillery, 1st Armored Division. Returning to Texas, 2/12 CAV for a short while chasing more tanks. Then going to Ft Lee Virginia to the 49th Group and entering into the Iraq war by setting up the largest fuel terminal systems ever created. Closing out my career with Ft Bragg NC 1st TSC in the SPO DIB section.
