Finished the tour and went to jump school, 82nd ABN, misawa Japan, earned Special Forces tap as an 18E and assigned to the 5th SFG. Left AD in 1993 joinedUSAR and went college, graduated and was commissioned as a butter bar. Spent several years gaining experience as an officer and realized that I didn't care too much for most officers that weren't prior enlisted. Volunteered for Iraq and Afghanistan went through training to become a 38A, civil affairs team leader. Served in both countries as such and retired as a O3E with 33 years as enlisted and officer. Soldier and damn proud of it!
