I was born in upstate NY.We moved,on average,every 2years until finishing high school.When I was 8,I saw all the USA Bicentennial Celebrations on tv.It was then &there that I knew I wanted to serve my country as an officer in the AF.While going to college at OU,“BOOMER SOONER!!!!!”,my mom went through 2 cancer surgeries within 1 1/2yrs.After she recouped,I couldn’t wait,I enlisted in the AF

WWII Battlefield Tourguide for WWII Commemoration

WWII Battlefield Tour Guide Volunteers | Kadena AB, Japan

Volunteer chosen by the group lead by an active duty USMC LtCol, to study, learn and familiarize with the movements, encounters and history of the USA 77th Infantry Division during Operation Iceberg that started in March 1945. Which included their dealing with the death of War Correspondent Ernie Pyle on Ie Shima during their operations there. And also the actions of their own medic, Desmond Doss. Recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor and subject of the movie “Heartbreak Ridge”.
