Training NCO
Filled in as the Unit Training NCO for 6 months as our Company was awaiting the selection and transfer our replacement AGR. I was previously the Unit Training NCO for about a year while I was deployed in 2009. I was now awaiting a PEB and was a traditional M-Day Soldier who volunteered to come in every work day so no one would have to pull double duty (I was also the Admin NCO at the time). The Division ensure that I was in a duty status during that entire period. On a few rare occasions, I also had to fill-in for our Readiness NCO when he was sent to different schools which were necessary for his position. I learned years earlier, when I was first brought in as Admin NCO, the different AGR positions in the unit and their various duties and responsibilities.
