Was deployed during Operation Garden Plot after the Rodney King verdict was announced and SCLA was in Riot stage. Probably the most scared time in my life for 2 reasons. #1. I was 22 years old and #2. I was holding a loaded M16 and aiming it at people that spoke my language for the most part. Looked like a war zone!
