The technology and startup community has taught me a great deal about how work ethic combined with creativity can transform an idea into a reality. I took an immersive service trip to the rural areas surrounding Quito to provide humanitarian relief, built housing, and teach young children who live in severe poverty. I learned about a unique group of people living in altogether different conditions than my own.
