Since leaving active duty, I have worked for my family's companies which offered me the flexibility and opportunity to pursue work in the public and private sectors. I have stayed active in the Air National Guard and Army Reserve as well as serve an elected city councilman. My last assignment in Afghanistan was as a TL of a Human Terrain Team (HTS) Team Leader and a Civil Affairs Officer.
