          Before joing the Marines, I worked at a landscaping company. I enlisted and served as an AAV crewman for 4 years. After getting out I worked for a cemetery and found work with a local funeral home. From there I got licensed and have been a NJ funeral director since 2006.

        I was responsible for the inventory of personal and vehicle weapons. I assisted in scheduling maintenance on the weapons and inspected the results. Due to the importance of these weapons, I was also tasked with acting as security for them.
During deployments, I logged in the weapons removed from the armory, by whom and when they were returned.

        Responsible for the upkeep, performance and readiness of the Marine Corps' AAV vehicles. 
Schooled in mechanized tactics and warfare.

Trained in the operation of communications, visual and weapon systems relating to the AAV.

        Tasked with maintaining my vehicle and having it at a constant state of readiness, my unit was attached to the 26th MEU during a Mediterranean deployment. We held joint exercises with numerous countries and I was honored to be part of the first Marine AAV unit to land aboard a Greek Amphibious ship.
