Recruited to return to theater of operations to inventory every piece of communication gear that was deployed starting in 1990. In 1990, I was assigned to 9th SC Shaw AFB who tasked all the AF combat comm units for different missions throughout the middle east. I got to fly to most locations where our military had set up a base or camp to date.
