I was in the Marines from May 1989 to May of 1993. I went to Parris Island and then to School of Infantry at Camp Geiger. I spent the next 2 years as a Marine Security Guard in Bremerton, WA. My final 2 years were spent with 2/9 Golf Co. We deployed as the combat element of the 15th MEU in Oct 92 and were the lead element in Operation Restore Hope in Somalia.
