Responsible for managing and maintaining the Group's concept, support and contingency plans. Conducted the Group internal exercise program. Served as Operations Officer for a UN CJTF for nation-building in Haiti. Served as the Plans Officer for the Army Special Operations Task Force for Operations Restore and Uphold Democracy in Haiti. Served as acting 3SFG(A) XO December 1994 - June 1995.

Managing, coordinating, supervising, and quality control of the battalion staff. Deployed and operated a Forward Operations Base for major exercises and in support of interagency counter drug operations. Managed the fielding of the first organic tactical vehicles with associated equipment assigned to the battalion, establishment of the requisite maintenance facilities and procedures, and integration of maintenance personnel.
