Bio 

I was an Artilleryman for over 20 years and have been on all weapon systems. I have been on 7 deployments to various places doing a multitude of duties. I have held every position within the 13B realm. Also have done SFAT, Drill Sergeant and finished my service as the Master Gunner and Senior Instructor at the NCOA at Fort Sill. I am here to seek advice and to share my knowledge as well.

I served as the Senior Small Group Leader and Master Gunner for the 13B Advanced Leaders Course. My duties included: the certification of all instructors assigned to the NCOA, live fire operations, ammunition management and instructor evaluations. I assisted in the redesign and new POI of all 13B courses from AIT through the Master Gunner Course. During my tenure ALC fired over 1,200 artillery rounds with no injury or loss of equipment. I earned the Senior Instructor badge and was continuously sought out for my expertise and knowledge.

Platoon Sergeant
I served as the Platoon Sergeant for a M119A2 and an M777A2 Platoon. My Platoon was changed back and forth between an M119A2 Platoon to a Motorized Rifle Platoon to an M777A2 Platoon. During this time we certified and qualified on both howitzer systems with the highest evaluation totals in the Battalion. We later deployed to Jordan as an SFA team charged with teaching the Jordanians on patrolling, FOB security, and day to day military operations.

I was on the Brigade Security Force Assistance Team while in Afghanistan. We mentored the Police and Army in the Wardak Province. We were responsible for teaching and coaching the Afghan Local Police and the Kandak on military operations. These included squad movements, rifle marksmanship, Check point operations and administration to operate a unit. We trained a total of over 700 Policeman and over 400 Afghan Soldiers

I was the Platoon Sergeant in charge of rehabilitating injured Soldiers and motivating the others to pass the APFT. While assigned to the fitness training unit I was responsible for teaching Soldiers proper PT movements to prevent further injury and to rehabilitate them from previous injuries. I ensured that all Soldiers healed and later passed the APFT to continue on to AIT.

My unit was responsible for training and preparing the Jordanian army for deployments. We conducted a 15 week Program of Instruction on maneuver skills, FOB security, basic and advanced rifle marksmanship, machine gun training and administrative requirements to function as a unit.

I assisted the Afghan forces in becoming prepared to secure and protect their country. We were responsible for teaching and coaching the Afghan Local Police and the Kandak on military operations. These included squad movements, rifle marksmanship, Check point operations and administration to operate a unit. We trained a total of over 700 Policeman

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
We provided maneuver efforts for the city of Narhwan. I was the dismount Squad Leader and lead vehicle for all patrol missions. We worked hand in hand with the Iraqi police providing stability within the city. I led a Squad of eight personnel and was responsible for their well being and training for all missions.

We patrolled and secured the Diyala Province by providing maneuver efforts. I was the lead vehicle for all missions and served as the dismounted Squad Leader and sniper for the Battalion. We detained multiple high value targets and brought stability to the entire province.
