Balanced the community law enforcement mission vs training mission of the 2 subordinate Battalions. Guidance was maximize training time. A thankless task. Credit goes to The S-3 himself who trusted and relied on my percentage figures and made the hard calls when needed. Got to the point where I could do 5 paragraph op orders in my sleep.
