Journalist
Recruited in Medford, OR in Sept 1955 and had boot in San Diego. Sent to JO "A" School at Great Lakes and sent consecutively to duty aboard the USS Bremerton, CA130 out of Long Beach, CA, Barber's Point NAS in Hawaii, and ended my service in Sept 1959 at the SeaBee base, Port Hueneme, CA. Edited the ship or base newspapers and sent press releases to the home papers of enlisted men. Priceless experience.
