Bio 

During my career I was fortunate to have worked with some of the finest military and civilian personnel in the world. As an Engineer I started out in FLW, MO, later on five assignments CONUS and two OCONUS, a combat tour during Operation Desert Storm and a Humanitarian Ops during JTF Andrew Relief. Also worked as an Obs. Contr. Trainer with six National Guard and Army Reserve Cmbt. Engineers.

Observer Controller, Resident Trainer in an Engineer Company in a Training Brigade; responsible for planning, coordinating, and assessing Combat Training Center (CTC) quality training for six National Guard and Army Reserve combat engineer units during Inactive Duty Training (IDT) and Annual Training periods; preparing and conducting Observer/Controller training on Bridge Operations, Rules of Engagement, and the After Action Review process.

Engineer trainer in a congressionally mandated Resident Training Detachment supporting one South Dakota National Guard Engineer Group, two Engineer Battalions, four separate Engineer Companies and one Engineer Detachment. Operation Desert Shield/Storm
Arrived with the 38th En Co (MGB) 7th En Bde, but from 2 March 1991 to 31 April 1991, I was a member of a special composite unit called Task Force Demo. We operated from an M577 in the VII Corps TAC CP in Iraq. The Task Force supervised and coordinated the destruction of Iraqi equipment and munitions.
