Were those other assaults still being put through the process? How is he still in the Army when he was formally accused of three sexual assaults in the last year? Smh.

I was raped during my first year of service, in 1976. Seems that the Armed Forces still can't get a grip on this, even after all these years.

Accused is not convicted. The article did not state when the rapes allegedly* occurred, nor when the accusers stepped forward. Furthermore, the military must retain the accused so he can be processed by the courts.

The rapes occurred in December 2019, May 2020, and August 2020; PFC Graham came forward in June. At least one of the three women was drunk, so I think it is very much to their credit that they came forward with the accusation at all, even if it was considerably later. Too often, women get the blame in these types of situations: “It was her fault, she was drunk.” Conversely, men too often get away with, “it was not my fault, I was drunk.” In my opinion, these three women demonstrated enormous bravery and fortitude, and I hope they get justice.

*Do not, for an instant, presume that I am siding with him. I am following the edict that defendants are “innocent until proven guilty." If he did the rapes, I hope he spends the next 20+ years turning big rocks into small rocks (and sleeping with his back to the wall every night!).

WTF is happening in my beloved Army? I got a little wild on occasion but never that out of control. I hope he gets what he gave when he arrives at Leavenworth.
