While line of duty deaths for 2016 are down by 33%, death by gunfire is up 800% in the first 6 weeks of this year. Why haven't BlackLiesMatter spoken out against the black-on-black LE shootings, or the president spoken out in behalf of LE?

It is sad that so many police officers have been killed in the line of duty CPO Andy Carrillo, MS. In the past few years more attention has been focused on the people killed by police - primarily gangbangers, thugs, and wannabes but include a few who were caught in crossfire, etc.
I do not expect this lame duck POTUS to use his bullypit to lament the loss of police officers or any other cause which may unite us. He will most likely continue to go into his role as the great divider from time to time which he does his best to ensure his reign as POTUS will be looked upon as a great one - I think that will be a lost cause.

Sgt Richard Henry - LTC Stephen F. There are just as many cops killed by teenagers....but you think this is ok? When people want to talk about this....you people want to sweep it under the rug, but when a cop shoots a teenager, you want to put it out there with lights song and dance....and it's only black teenagers....all of the other teenagers shot are NEVER discussed...I'm sick to death of everything being black and thrown in my face....it should be EVERYTHING! every single situation...whether it's black, white, yellow, brown etc...

BlackLivesMatter has ceased to be a legitimate movement. It's mostly made up of rabid extremists now. It's unfortunate that the reasonable, sane people who populated it in the beginning have either all bailed, or sit silently by while their rabid colleagues co-opt the movement.

Rabid, in the context I'm using it for this discussion, was the #BLM leader (I forget her name) calling for blacks to kill whites. That's rabid. That's extremist. That's insane. As for police shooting teenagers, I don't know which incident you're referring to, and that's important, because some of them were justified. Some of them weren't. But if you're making a blanket statement that a cop should never, under any circumstances, shoot a teenager, that's just flat narrow-sighted.
Gangs? Nowhere have I, or anyone else on this site, that I know of, ever said that there weren't white gangs?
Finally, the most telling (and disgusting) of your statements: "why do white people consistently act as if they are all of that and a bag of chips?" So all white people, everywhere, act as if they are all of that and a bag of chips? See, that's your inherent problem, and is the reason why you contribute to the racist atmosphere that exists today, rather than mitigate it: you make blanket assumptions about every member of a certain group, and don't leave any room for compromise.
I, sir, do not see a black person and make immediate judgments about their character, history, future, or personality. It's pretty clear that you cannot say the same about white people.

It is time for the Black community to be outraged with the Democratic controlled urban communities and go after the gangs of youths that are terrorizing and killing in U.S. inner city poor.

SN Greg Wright The leader of this movement isn't black. His name is Shaun King, he is a white man who abused the system to use affirmative action to get placement in college and aid. He continues to promote himself as a black man but he is not. It is the same as Rachel Dolezal the former NCAAP Spokane Washington, chapter President. It's not a feeling belonging to LEOs alone. Though it may not be seen publicly this feeling of not being supported by the government by the military and law enforcement could lead to conflict in the future of the nature that goes far beyond the recent SMALL disruption in Montana.
