How much of a shock is this really? I'm not being facetious when I say this, but aren't Russian athletes kind of known for enhancement drug usage? Russia's Olympic ice dance gold medalist Ekaterina Bobrova said she failed a doping test for the same drug. Russians have a long history of utilizing drug enhancement drugs...we need not look any further than their summer Olympic team which has been banned. I don't know, I mean it's not like we can't produce a laundry list of American substance abusing athletes, too...

Exactly. The Russians have been doping since the beginning of time. Sad really as they have a better training ethic than most peoples.

Too bad but she is probably finished even tho she is not a doper like Lance Armstrong. The rules don't distinguish between people with evil intent to cheat the system and those who are negligent or sloppy in keeping up with important issues which concern them. She has/had too much to lose to miss the emails and notifications from authorities for as long as she said she did. Hope they are lenient on her but in statements so far can hardly wait to run her up the flagpole. I would tend to give her a 2d chance.
