My unit never left the basics. the only times I have really touched a DAGR was to inventory it. Granted we had them in our Bradleys but even on the BFT on those things aren't that great so we terrain associate the hell out the vehicle land nav course and do some rough plotting on the BFT by just looking at the map it displays.
Though what they said about radio traffic could be harder to train out the bad habits.
