Only one question. what about the politicians that caused the problem and covered it up?

SSG Warren Swan - This is what you can expect when you let Democrats run the show for 40 years. Then try to pawn off the problem to the new guy.

TSgt Kenneth Ellis - How about that? People wanting to blame a political party for this issue, and blaming the fairly new republican governor instead of the Democrats entrenched in Flint and other Michigan cities for decades.

TSgt Kenneth Ellis & CPT (Join to see) - Gentlemen; I thought that the remarks were directed towards the politicians who "caused" (which may not really be the appropriate term because the water system DID comply with the applicable standards at the time it was built) AND "covered up" (which may not really be the appropriate term because its quite possible that the condition was not brought to the attention of those who could remedy it before the condition reached a state where it could not be remedied without shutting down the whole city while the entire water system was replaced) the issue.

Was I wrong?

You were right, Sir. I was addressing the overall tone of many different comments I've read concerning the issue. Not specifically what the PO2 said.

Classism at it's best. There wouldn't be a second thought about this if it happened in a more affluent area of any state in any part of this country. Got no job, got no money, got nothing to bribe with, sucks to be you. The finger pointing is classic though. The Governor signed this, and is swearing he had nothing to do with it, but the email traffic released damn sure doesn't support that.
