Agreed Sergeant Major! It will bring closure and remembrance to many. One of the great things about this particular dignified transfer of remains was that the remains of the ROK soldiers would never have been shared by the DPRK with the ROK as they have no understanding for such in place. I hope that the UNC remains, once identified, if they are non-US, might find a resting place in the UN cemetery in Busan, ROK.

This should be a great thing for the families of the service members whose remains are being returned.

1998 - Korean War Remains Repatriation Ceremony - Panmunjom
Over 8000 US Troops are still missing in action in Korea! This is just couple of the ceremonies to welcome the remains of those found home. Our MIA's cannot ...
Attended several ceremonies in the latter 90s! Still are almost 8000 MIA to this day, 63 years since the Armistice was signed!!!!!!!!!!!
