I wil vote against Trump as mass deportation is simply an inhumane answer to a an easily fixed dysfunctional immigration system. Our system worked just fine until 2001. The law has no line or waiting list for the spouses of US citizens or parents of adult US citizen children, but the penalty for illegal entry is return and forced 10-year-exile. Before 2001 that departure and exile were waivable with a $1000.

Fortunately even if Trump wins, he can't unilaterally change the immigration law and there are enough democrats in the senate to obstruct any change he tries, meaning that even undocumented aliens have the right to seek relief from deportation in immigration court, and even at current backlog levels it is relatively easy to tie up a case in immigration court for longer than four years, which is exactly how long a Trump administration would last.

Trump winning and instituting his deportation plan would make me very wealthy, very quickly, but my own self-interest is not the basis of my vote, and so I will vote against (and actively advocate against) Trump, as I've been doing since this race began.

Until we secure our borders against illegal trespass and invasion, deportation will be like bailing out a sinking boat with a teacup as water pours in by the gallons

I was born and have lived almost my entire life in Southern California, I've got WAY more firsthand experience with the negative effects of illegal immigration than Trump who's frankly ignorant on the subject.

As others have mentioned, until the border is secured engaging in mass deportation is nothing but a waste of time and money.

Also it's not nearly as simple as "deport all the illegals", this would cause massive economic damage because the jobs the illegals are doing wouldn't get done. at least not for close to the wages they are making. What needs to happen first is to improve access and options for legal immigration, let us control who we let in and let the legal immigrants take over the lowest paying jobs from the illegals.

PO2 Robert Aitchison - PO; Of course the jobs would get done. There are MILLIONS of unemployed Americans who are just champing at the bit to take those high paying jobs working in the fields.

Besides if those unemployed Americans REFUSE to take the gainful employment offered to them then they are VOLUNTARILY reducing their income so as to "qualify" for "entitlements" like "welfare", "unemployment benefits" and "food stamps" and that means that they should be denied those "entitlements" because the only people who are ACTUALLY entitled to them are those who need them through no fault of their own.

[Do you see how "simple" it all is?]
