Good information and statistics but there is no easy answer. I'm curious to the mental state of the shooters during these incidents.

There are also several different types of firearms used. What other security measures would have helped reduce these incidents?
How would people react to the increased security presence and added screening to add layers of security at these locations?

Even with statistics I think we still have more questions than answers.

Lot's of data points, very few common causes. There are some commonalities on weapons used (mostly hand guns). Mental illness I would think looms large behind the data. That is the elephant in the room we don't talk about because it isn't easy to create memes about it.
