Saw the Missouri last year, they are in a great location, get lots and lots of visitors (more than the other 3 Iowa class combined) this allows them to do some interesting stuff.

Also since they are ON a military base they get to host quite a lot of military ceremonies and events like reenlistments and retirements. They have a shelter permanently set up on the fantail just for these events.

Also Chip keep in mind when talking about the Iowa's, their history isn't limited to WWII, all four of them served in WWII, Korea and during the Cold War and the New Jersey even served in Vietnam (which is why she's the most decorated Battleship in U.S. Navy History).

Recently I went back to Battleship Cove in Fall River MA. To go on board the USS Massachusetts BB-59. I slept on board her over 30 years prior, so it was my first time back. Impressive today as it was then.
