The other repub candidates were afraid to challenge Trump. But now that it's down to two, the focus will sharpen and all the BS and lies and exagerrations Trump has relied upon will be clearly exposed. As will his lack of actual policies. Like today, he said that the US would have the greatest infrastructure in the world, he would rebuild the inner cities, the military will be beefed up to unprecedented levels, the great multibillion dollar wall will be built, without the US paying a dime, and taxes will go down for everyone. Talk about trying to sell people a bag of shit. He told California residents there really isn't a drought and he will "turn the water back on". He told coal miners they will all be fully employed again. He tells the working class they will suddenly all have really high paying jobs again.

But he never quite gets around to telling anyone how he is going to accomplish any of this. He just repeats over and over "believe me" and "trust me". Just like he is going to defeat ISIS and solve all the problems in the ME, but he can't tell us how because he doesn't want to lose the element of surprise. He just says "trust me, I will defeat ISIS".

It's sad to see how many Americans are falling for his scam. But that's all it is. Promise each group he is talking to exactly what they want. Don't say how. Just "believe me".

His whole speech today was full crap. This is not the primary anymore. Everything he says will be scrutinized and fact checked. As you stated, it mind boggling that people actually support that guy.

LTC Thomas Tennant I think that as the liberal press starts helping Hillary in earnest, anything that Trump says that denigrates Hillary (true or not) will receive less and less coverage. What they do cover will continue to be spun to help, not hurt Hillary.

Trump needs to not count on his message getting out by free press coverage, as he did in the primaries. The battle with Hillary is on and there is no question whose side the media will be on.
