I'm no master of negotiation. I would never presume to write a book about it or make a presentation. However, I survived and succeeded as an entrepreneur because I clung to one negotiation strategy that never failed me: Always have as many options as possible. If this person says no, another will say yes. If this vendor's price is high, another's will be low. You must always have the freedom to walk away from the table, but you can't unless there's another table to walk to. Now, there. That advice is free. Hopefully it's worth more than it costs.

Thanks for sharing an interesting concept COL Mikel J. Burroughs
Before I was a Christian I negotiated from a position of strength or apathy alternately.
Since I have known that I needed Christ, I have prepared for meetings or interviews but not been wedded to my plans. I trust God to guide me in tense situations and HE has never let me down - though HE has certainly surprised me.
