Ummmmm, who did the paperwork to start his pay? He is dead wrong, but this is my thing. When I was in the S-1, I knew the status of my people, so if someone was convicted in a court-martial, that is something that I would tend to remember. So if someone is in jail, I know that they aren't supposed to be getting paid. If I received paperwork saying otherwise, the FIRST thing I am doing is double checking with somebody before I go any further processing anything!!! But that's just me....

Read e-rthe story, he wasn't collecting military pay, he claimed a military status from his state government job - "A military reservist, Dockery was entitled to a portion of his state salary while activated for Operation Iraqi Freedom – but he would have had to forfeit the benefit if it was known he was imprisoned."

Sorry - re-read the story. My fingers seem to be dyslexic today.
