That's a new one for me. I've been called a crab, boot, and I know about cherry for the army. According to my Swiss penpal their equivalent of new guys are referred to as hamburgers.

It used to be, "ok Smedlies get a field day going in here' or something like that. Even junior LCpls were lumped in that group and joined in the field day if there was a shortage of PFCs.. Are you still in the Band?
