SGT (Join to see) - It seems clear to me. you can buy cheap fish oil that only has a combined 200mg of EPH and DHA (the active ingredients you're looking for) in which case you would need 10 tablets to get 2,000mg/day (minimum therapeutic dose). So what seems like a nice price for a bottle of fish oil, may only last a few days if you're taking 10-15 tabs/day. I don't like to take pills, so I like the liquid or I get a tablet with 1,000mg each.

MAJ Charles Blake - the EPH and DHA were what I was talking about. I'll read up on them later. I remember taking fish oil pills when I was younger - yummy (sarcasm).

SGT (Join to see) - Robb Wolf used to have a calculator to get at your basic intake but it's been replaced by better evidence of just 2-3k/day depending on training cycle.

Can only imagine how much that costs. I haven't taken the fish oil supplements, at one time saw really good review of it. Just at walmart the price is high so that is a factor.

Their cheapest product for men is $50. I've paid that for years for glucoasmine+chondroitin for my joints. It's not a high price to pay to stay healthy and active with less pain.

Fish oil at WM is a waste. The pills are too weak, have to take 20 to get therapeutic dose v
