Save more, spend less. This is something much of the middle class refuses to do.

COL. Sir. One of our problems that i see is today's and also yesterdays students are not taught money manners anywhere that I know. As a 1st SGT I had people come before me with credit problems and hot checks. It was amazing some of the things they did. They just don't know and how many can't count back change? You can blow their minds with change. I think living life or the small things in life should be taught to young people. I know that should be taught at home but we know better. Today's young have computer skills but do terrible on money and civies. This may be a little off subject but somehow I see this as important.
Sir you do manage to bring up interesting questions. I have enjoyed them.

Put your credit cards in ice in your freezer. That way it is there if you need it but not for the normal stupid stuff most of us buy. I try and have at least a few months emergency fund. When paying off our bills we started small and worked towards the larger ones. That way we always saw the progress we were making!
