I remember the one that took a double step down because he was frocked CTA3 instant SA and the Admiral took his Rate away. Since we had no need for a Non-Rate SA we sent him to a Carrier to Chip Paint.

Reminds be of a sea story of a guy who went to mast as a frocked PO1 (E-6) but had a suspended bust on his record, walked out as an E-3.
