I wish someone had stocked the pond with like a dozen 8lb'ers to give this fellow one last good, memorable fight.

SGT (Join to see) A story that makes you sad and happy at the same time. I am glad that he received his last wishes. On an operation in Vietnam, we took baths in a pond, and it killed the fish.

SGT (Join to see) - It is nasty looking. I can see why it is called a snakehead fish. It does look like a snakehead.

Sgt (Join to see), Now you understand why I threw the fish, tree limb, and line back into the pond. No way I was going to take that thing off.

You think that looks nasty ??? Look up a hagfish...aka...slime eel. I fished those in Portland Maine for many years.
