I feel that this message is becoming more and more important as we draw closer to the election. I suppose we can only hope that the contention will end on the morning following the election when everybody accepts the results and we move forward with their lives. That's what I plan on doing regardless of who wins. I've survived other disagreeable choices, I imagine I can survive regardless of who wins this one
Why can't we just agree to disagree?

As far as I'm concerned, the less Congress authorizes, the better. I don't want cooperation, I want gridlock. Every time politicians cooperate, we end up more in debt and with fewer of our freedoms. Congress was not originally intended to be in year-round session.

I like the Texas arrangement limiting their legislature to meeting just once every two years and for a relatively short period (limited to 140 days). That keeps the mischief to a minimum

It seems lately that is often the choice,with hte crap one has to go though just to be a candidate its not getting better either. Dirty Politics takes an even lower level and that is pretty low !.
