What a great plan for anyone with more time than money. The competition will be fierce for those 5 billets!

MAJ Charles Blake, I think any training, and/or experience in the medical field, in the Military, is a valuable asset, for civilian life.

Yes but these Med school prep courses are legit and expensive. I like to see good things happen for people who are working hard.

Good stuff, Keith. Our Medics and Hospital Corpsmen/women have been overlooked by the medical arena even though many have field experience that ER people will never see. Hope they use this program, nothing better than hearing someone in the hospital tell you they were former military.

I hope if an RP Navy member is interested in pursuing medicine, this will help Rog. You're spot on with the comfortable feeling I get when I know my doctor is prior service.

Sgt Gus Laskaris - Don't get your stethoscopes in a twist, if have a serious injury or illness, I want an ER Doc, stat, don't care where or how they got there.

10-4 on that MCPO Roger Collins. Sgt Gus Laskaris, gives the impression he's the only one in RP who knows about trauma, and the difference between field trauma, and ER trauma.
