WTF is its Trumps responsibility to tell every one the problems or not tell folks ...

Why is it Donald Trump's responsibility to tell us anything about sanctuary cities? They are in violation of federal law and it is the duty of the President to administer and enforce federal law. If there is a valid argument for sanctuary cities, let them be debated in Congress and let Congress pass any necessary changes in legislation.

Interesting article, seems relatively even handed especially considering the source (MSNBC) is generally biased.
I live in the confines of the city of Los Angeles, one of the first "sanctuary cities". I can certainly see the value in these kind of policies, where illegal immigrants who are yes, criminals due to their illegal entry and presence but who otherwise pose absolutely no threat to the greater community would be afraid to even talk to police for fear of arbitrary deportation.
The problem is where the illegal aliens who are actively engaged in criminal activity, and aren't turned over to ICE by local law enforcement.

The problem there, is that you are saying "enforce this law, but not that one". I didn't know we could pick and choose what laws to follow. I agree that Immigration law should be reviewed and changed but that still does not give right to violate law and still expect federal funding.
Get your Congressman/woman off their butts and tell them to look into the Immigration law. That is their job, you pay them for it.
