How Obama Failed Black Americans

Well the title was a good one, and could have lead to a good article chronicling how the horrid obama economy was bad for black people, but the author of this article went another direction. He seems to think that obama's failure was no instituting more communism. That is 5 minutes of my life I will not get back. Here is an exert from the article that will save the rest of you
"The Obama administration never gave serious consideration to aggressive transformative universal policies like a public-sector employment guarantee for all Americans, a federally financed trust fund for all newborn infants with amounts dictated by a child’s parents’ wealth position, or the provision of gifted-quality education for all children. These are universal programs that can have a significant “disproportionate impact and benefit for African Americans,” in the process of helping all Americans—unlike the types of universal programs endorsed by the president.

And the emphasis on exclusively universal programs yields the spectacle of a black president who opposes the most dramatic black-specific program of all—reparations for African Americans."

year universal gov employment and reparations will lead us to the paradise that is Cuba. The author is an idiot and has learned nothing from history.
You want to see black equality, sign everyone up for the military, the one place where nobody gives a shit where you came from, just how you do your job.

Thanks for sharing an interesting article COL Charles Williams. During his presidency, now lame-duck POTUS Obama spent more time and effort motivating one group against others than he did in unifying this nation over anything.
The liberals have campaigned as though they cared about the inner city dwellers yet when push came-to-shove they decried any prospects of real beneficial change to those people.
In effect POTUS Obama continued many of the policies set up by LBJ in the 1960's and he led a half-hearted war on poverty and even a more lukewarm response to the war of drugs.
POTUS Obama did some good while in office but he let everybody down overall.
