A good point, but I don't think it's so much the number, as it is what they are. He used them to legislate, because he can't legislate otherwise.

One cannot properlt legislate with an obstructionist Congress, but I posted a question asking which policies or EOs one would repeal.... I am trying to find out which horrible EOs are out there

He had control of the congress for the first years, and a pretty useless congress after that.

The problem is that his executive orders violated existing laws and shoved leftist agenda down our throats. Several of his lawyers nearly got disbarred for making false claims in their arguments in federal court. Other presidents used executive orders for military purposes which is what they were intended for.
