President Trump Inauguration full speech

As an old soldier, I continue to believe that my oath pledged to this country extends past retirement, and am proud of OUR new POTUS for not mincing words in his inaugural speech.

I am by no means an isolationist, but must express a point which much of the media, both left and right, are missing. When we discuss our foreign policy I prefer to look at it from an Order of Battle (OB) perspective. Since WW-2 we have established newly established borders, interests, and loose lines of supporting our Allies through mutual interests. NATO, the UN, and the European Union have flexed the FLOT involving their desires, interests, and agenda. All fine and expected, but who do you think has dumped metric tons of cash, support, and muscle flexing when necessary in order to keep an overall appearance of world peace? Yes, we the people, have been called on to pay our hard earned tax dollars to support other countries wars in addition to our own.

Now, you may look at this as a good thing if you believe in 'Nation Building' and supporting allies in name only, but I must disagree. Every dollar which goes to a foreign interest distracts from those of our CITIZENs who are barely eeking out a living. It's a little known fact that well over half of our working class, the true middle class, are one paycheck away from financial crisis which borders bankruptcy.

With that said, how many of you can support pumping money into another nation's interest when we are morally, ethically, and financially depleted to the point of collapse within our borders?

I welcome this new approach of consolidating, rearming, and resupplying our own in the 'Defense' before overextending our FLOT and blindly continuing to 'Attack'.
