SSG Jessica Bautista What's your point? Did the Obama administration allow executive branch websites to broadcast unflattering commentary on President Obama?

SSG Jessica Bautista - Please show 'where' it is stated that this account was "permanently" shut down.
Also, if it is department policy to vet and only retweet what is inline with department policy, how is that not censorship? Or, do you mean to use the word 'censure'? Which is quite a silly use of the word, unless you mean to say - "No, Obama (or any leader within the administration) never had to censure someone over a Twitter statement/account."

Senior Obama White House national security aide Jofi Joseph, who was critical of the Obama administration’s “whitewash” of the attack on the Benghazi consulate was fired for writing anti-administration messages under the pseudonym @NatSecWonk on Twitter. He was a key member of the White House team in negotiations on Iran’s nuclear weapons program, and was fired after a months-long internal investigation.

SSG Robert Webster - The Obama administration didn't just censure national security aide Jofi Joseph (who tweeted as #NatSecWonk). For exposing Obama's lies about Benghazi and other things he was FIRED.

SSG Robert Webster - According to the Washington Post, it was temporarily shut down, the "offending" retweets taken down, and then reopened with "We regret the mistaken RTs from our account yesterday and look forward to continuing to share the beauty and history of our parks with you pic.twitter.com/mctNNvlrmv". And, compared to what Obama did to Jofi Joseph for tweeting under a pseudonym on his own time - fired him - the Interior Department's response was restrained and focused on the agency's legal commitments and precedents set years earlier.

Tell me again what comparison shots of two presidents' inaugurations has to do with Interior's job in the government. Interior, under Obama, has been involved in politically-motivated abuse of power in the past, as when they turned World War II veterans away from an open-air WWII memorial in the capitol during the House's shutdown of funding for government service, and roadblocked a STATE highway to Mt.Rushmore at the same time. It's time for a housecleaning at Interior, not just telling them to do their jobs and lay off the tweets.

Sad that they are told to stop tweeting but comparing the first African American President's Inauguration to Donald Trump's Inauguration, I would expect to be some difference. It was a significant moment when the Barack Obama was voted in and people wanted to be there in person. Not quite sure what they were trying to do with the side-by-side pictures.

Obviously trying to embarrass the new administration. Through selective presentation of the audience.
