Like I said - any resemblance between the caoacity for rational thought and a liberal is highly improbable

Voter ID and the various laws enacted, introduced, etc, etc have been proven in many instances to prevent the poor, elderly, persons of color, persons with disabilities, etc from voting in one way shape or form.

My opinion is the problem also lies in the fact that no one is pushing a comprehensive, realistic and feasible National ID which could be managed by the states, overseen by the Federal Government and phased in over a period of years for those over a certain age and make it immediate within a certain time frame for newborns and others.

We can't even get states to comply with the REALID act. There is no way some states would go along with this.

MSG Tom Earley - Its not as simple as that in many cases. There is documented evidence that even a simple ID has been deemed not the right kind in sime cases.

As stated above, I believe there has to be a better way on the state and federal level to fix this.

LTC Trent Klug - Sir, I believe if a well thiught out system were to be put in place it could. Many countries around the world are doing it and have been doing it fir a while.... We are behind the power curve in this instance.
